A small property
owner gives up the ability to rent his space the moment you make
your reservation. By making your deposit, you are returning his
good faith offer with your deposit. The only reason payment isn't
made in full at this juncture is that some travellers don't have
that much money available.
Balance
is due 60 days before travel.**

Since many of you will be coming in less than 60 days, you will
be asked to pay in full.
This policy allows
out of state/country checks to clear
Protects both
parties: if rentors don't pay, property owners still have 60 days
to rebook your space, making it more likely that they will be
successful and return your deposit.
Deposit and refund policy:
A 40% deposit is required to hold a reservation. The balance
is due 60 days prior to departure. If the balance is not paid
by that date,
reservation subject to cancellation. Monies refundable only if
property is re-rented, minus 20%.
